Cariboni Group lights up the new "Headquarters & Technology Center" of Prima Industrie, one of the world's leading companies in the development, production and marketing of laser systems for industrial applications and machines for sheet metal processing, as well as industrial electronics and laser technologies.
The project envisaged "green" materials and technologies that are totally self-sufficient from an energy point of view. Cariboni was chosen for outdoor lighting with KAI pole system, a high performance LED solution that allowed to achieve excellent levels of illuminance and uniformity, guaranteeing workers and visitors a pleasant feeling of safety and liveability. A product made in Italy, to guarantee a supply chain that produces quality and speed, for the space dedicated to the work of one of the many Italian excellences in the world.
In the most suitable area, chosen with appropriate evaluations, the insertion of a new building complex has been planned divided into distinct areas but at the same time strictly interconnected: the production building of about 10,000 m²; the office building of about 7,000 m² connected directly to the production area. The new center has a total of 5,000 m² of which 2,500 are dedicated to Prima Industrie's Prima Industrie and divisional corporate offices, and 2,500 dedicated to the demo room and customer hospitality. A welcoming and functional structure, able to comfortably accommodate 4 delegations of visitors at the same time, equipped with an 80-seat training room and a demo room dedicated to customers from all over the world, where they operate 11 machines, including an entire production line.
The building is equipped with the most modern technologies for energy saving, ranging from thermal insulation to the production of energy thanks to photovoltaic panels, solar panels and a geothermal system. In other words, this will mean reducing CO2 emissions by around 300 t a year. A philosophy closely linked to the 'green means' technology that Prima Industrie applies to all product lines and which allows a strong reduction in consumption compared to conventional technologies.
