Promenade, Pietra Ligure

Cariboni group has played an active role in the construction of the new seaside promenade on the eastern side of Pietra Ligure.

The project, commissioned by the Municipality of Pietra Ligure, had three goals: to increase and improve tourist services, regenerate the town's eastern seaside area and construct a protected pedestrian promenade at the same height as the current road protection wall.

More specifically, the promenade has a total length of 570 m and was built in 3 lots, starting from the Corso Italia stretch, continuing past the Viale Europa level crossing and on to the boundary with Borgio Verezzi.

Cariboni group participated in the third and final lot of the promenade by installing LED bollards called PEYOTE POLE.
These products are located in a 1 m wide flowerbed; the green area slopes slightly towards the Aurelia road and performs the function of separating the road from the pedestrian area.
The structure is made of reinforced concrete with 25 cm thick, 4 m dividers, located 5.5 m apart that support the base of the 4.5 m wide promenade.

The promenade that overhangs the sea, has allowed the bathing establishments to reorganise and move bathing cabins and equipment under the promenade base to leave the beach freer and with more space for bathers.
