Street fixtures with LED sources suitable for lighting junctions, high traffic density urban and extra urban roads, roundabouts, outdoor car parks, perimeter, large areas and pedestrian-cycle paths.

Light quality

Kai is also available in 2200K, a very warm white, similar to old sodium lamps but with a high colour rendering index. The warm light makes urban spaces more welcoming and is ideal for lighting urban centres.

Flexibility

Available in three sizes, Kai can be fastened to different arms and posts for use in both urban and suburban vehicular routes. The same anchoring device can be used for both horizontal and vertical fastening. The product can be repositioned without the need to open it. Kai can be fastened to Ø76mm posts, or to Ø60mm and Ø46mm posts and arms with reducers. The shape of the reducer prevents insects from nesting inside the device.

Tilt

There is no need to remove the anchoring device to vary the product tilt angle, it is sufficient to loosen the two external screws fastening it to the body and adjust the angle. For post-top installation, vertical fastening provides a tilt angle from 0° to +20° in 5° steps. For installation on an arm, horizontal fastening provides a tilt angle from 0° to -20° in 5° steps.

IoT ready

Kai can be equipped with devices to enable IoT on an urban scale. With NEMA or ZHAGA connectors, sensors and aerials can be added to the product during or after installation.

Attention to detail

The optical compartment is separate from the component compartment for better thermal management and to avoid access to the optical unit during installation. The absence of dissipation fins prevents dirt from building up on top of the product.

Easy to install

The opening clips allow tool-free access to the power supply and control compartment for connection to the mains power during installation or for maintenance. A disconnector automatically opens the power supply circuit and isolates the LED modules when the component compartment is opened.

REPAIRABLE

The source and power supply unit can be replaced for maintenance and to update the product in order to extend its service life.

RECYCLABLE

The main materials used to make the product are recyclable and easily separable for separate disposal. No adhesives have been used to assemble the product.

DURABLE

The product is robust and reliable. Components, materials and finishes have been chosen to last a long time and resist corrosion, voltage surges and impact.
